Step 1 - Copy your Javascript code
Sign in to your Equally AI account, add your site to your Equally AI profile and you will copy your JavaScript Embed Code to your clipboard.
Step 2 - Embed the code
On your Wordpress dashboard, click Appearance then Theme File Editor.
On the right side of the page, click on Theme Files. Scroll down and then select footer.php.
Scroll down to find the body closing tag </body>. Immediately above it, press ‘Enter’ on your keyboard to create a new line. On the new line, paste your Javascript embed code.
Step 3 - Click on Update File to finish
How to install Equally AI with plugin
To install Equally AI using the plugin, follow these steps:
Step 1 - Sign in to your Equally AI account
Once you sign in to your Equally AI account, add your site to your Equally AI profile and you will be provided with an embed code. Copy your JavaScript Embed Code to your clipboard, as you will need it in the following steps:
Step 2 - Log into your Wordpress site admin panel
On the side menu, click on Plugins and then select Add New.
Step 3 - Find and download the Equally AI plugin
In the search field on the right side of the page, type in Equally AI and hit the enter button to search. Click the Install Now button to download the plugin.
Step 4 - Activate the plugin
Next, click on the Activate button to activate the plugin on your site.
Step 5 - Add your Javascript embed code
On the sidebar, scroll down till you find Equally AI and click on it.
Paste your embed code in the text field for Widget Installation Script. Then click on Save Settings.
That’s it! You have successfully integrated Equally AI. It is now working to make your site accessible.
